Where the coffee comes from

We source through farming families and quality-focused suppliers in the south and west of Colombia. Three regions anchor the offer; the others are added by harvest window and availability.

Huila

Altitude
1,200–1,900 masl (our lots 1,500+)
Harvest
Main Sep–Dec · mitaca Apr–Jun
Varieties
Castillo, Colombia, Caturra
Cup
Panela and sugarcane sweetness, mandarin / orange acidity, creamy body, floral finish.
Best for
The reference profile of the offer — the safe centre for a filter roast.

Cauca

Altitude
1,500–2,100 masl
Harvest
Main Apr–Jul · mitaca Oct–Dec
Varieties
Castillo, Colombia, Caturra, Typica
Cup
Bright and high-toned: citric and floral, tea-like clarity, lighter body, long sweet aftertaste.
Best for
A lighter, more aromatic filter lot where acidity is the selling point.

Valle del Cauca

Altitude
1,300–1,900 masl
Harvest
Main Sep–Dec · mitaca Apr–Jun
Varieties
Castillo, Colombia, Caturra, Bourbon
Cup
Rounder and sweeter: caramel and cocoa, soft acidity, medium-high body, nutty finish.
Best for
Espresso and blend base, where body and sweetness matter more than acidity.

Also sourced

Nariño (1,650–1,800 masl, limited lots), Quindío, Tolima, Risaralda (Pereira) and the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta (seasonal). Single-region lots are offered when the harvest allows; otherwise we offer a departmental blend and say so on the offer sheet.

Grades we quote

Specialty — SCA 84+

Excelso EP, screen 14+, Q-Grader cupped. For specialty roasters and importers who need a documented score and a consistent profile.

Commercial — SCA 80–83

Excelso / UGQ preparation, screen 14+, clean cup without a specialty claim. For blends, private label and roasters buying on price, priced against the market differential.

Microlots — on request

Single-farm lots, Bourbon, honey or natural process, in small quantities and by pre-order. Availability depends on the harvest.

How we price

Container business is priced against the New York "C" contract plus a differential agreed on the contract date, FOB Cartagena or CIF your port — the way Colombian coffee is traded. Samples and small air lots are priced per kilogram, freight shown as its own line. We do not hold an open price list for a market that moves daily; ask and you get a dated offer sheet.
